The best deal changes daily, but you are looking at 120-128gb in that price range. There is a pretty good deal on the Crucial M4 at Newegg for $165 FS. You need to update the firmware to take care of the 5200 hour bug, but Crucial drives are quite reliable, see THIS.

What do you do with your pc? Gaming or professional work?

a couple of days ago the samsung 830 128gb drive was on sale for $179 at tigerdirect, it consistently outperforms the crucial m4. but, with the promo code newegg is offering (and if you don't have to pay sales tax) the m4 is by far the best deal. very reliable drives, they don't use the sandforce controller which has plagued users, and they offer great speeds in real world performance.

Yup, the quality of the deals changes daily -- I was lucky to have picked up a couple 160gb Intel 320s when they had the $110 rebates late last year, so they were only $170 each, although they went into builds for others and I still have my $500 240gb Vertex 3 from last April. :)
