Why can't my nas enclosure be seen on the network

Forum Storage : NAS/RAID Why can't my nas enclosure be seen on the network

I have a NAS. I can ping it, access it via browser to change settings etc., but can't see it on the network to access data on it. I've tried with both Zonealarm and windows firewall. The ip address of the nas is in the trusted zone. I have tried from both my pc which is on a lan, and my laptop which is on a wlan. I've accessed it perfectly normally in the past, but I had a period where sometimes it was there, and sometimes not. Now it's not. Help!
