Hello community,

New builder here with zero experience on RAID setup; however, this is what I would like too do I'm going to be using a 120GB SATA III SSD and a Seagate 1TB HDD.

I would like to have the SSD handle the bios, OS, and a game or two that I play, but have the HDD for all the rest of my storage without it partially copying any of those stated too my HDD, which too my understanding would slow down load times, what would be the best way to go about doing this?

Just install your operating system on your 120GB SATA drive and when you install programs and games, install those on your SATA drive also. Install your HDD and when your computer is built and running, format your HDD and use it for storage.

RAID isn't part of that setup. You would need to get some more drives for that.
