Hello,my dvd rw drive is not responding.when i put in a disc it spins so i know is working but the computer is still saying insert a disc can u help me please

Sounds like the drive failed. Either borrow a working drive and install it in your computer or install your drive in a different computer.

It is either that or you have problems with your operating system.

Try the simple stuff first.
