Blu Ray Drive Software

Forum Storage : Optical Media Blu Ray Drive Software

Hello,

I'm going to build a system and would like to get a Blu Ray drive for it. After reading reviews on Newegg, it seems like you need to get software that can "decode" (excuse me if I am using the wrong terminology as I am fairly new to understanding parts of a computer and such) Blu Ray. Is that true and if so what is some popular software that does the job?
