I am looking for a bare bones (or as bare bones as one can get) ethernet Network Attached Storage device with SATA III drive capeability. Does anyone make such an animal?

I know some of QNAP's devices support Sata III, and from a quick google a few other manufactures come up. They are expensive devices though, as far as barebones its basically everything except the drives.

Thanks. I see what you mean about the cost factor. I am going to have to rethink the project.

BGTW - Any experience with D-Link would be appreciated.
