The $139 dollar motherboard is legit, however, you can't buy it separately - it's a motherboard upgrade which needs to be bought as an upgrade to a new PC system from Mission PC.

That second motherboard is the GA-890FXA-UD5 which is meant for AMD CPUs.

Don't go for the GTX 275, it's old tech - go for the GTX 460 which is faster and supports DirectX 11, and has better efficiency.

I know your budget is $240 AUD, but I'd spend the extra $29 on this motherboard:

It's just that much better than the GA-P55-UD5.

Really i generally agree 100% with your recommendations but aside from the E-PRO having usb3 and sata 3 why is it that much better?

Don't think so!

It's better for these reasons:

1. As mentioned, SATA III and USB 3.0.
2. The P55-UD5 is pretty much unavailable, it's discontinued.
3. The P7P55D-E Pro is cheaper.
4. It seems like some P55-UD5 boards have the Foxconn retention bracket which applied uneven pressure to the processor, causing it to be burnt, it may or may not apply to the board.

That GTX 460 seems a bit pricy... it's $200 USD = ~ $220 AUD, and this is for the 768 MB version (I know it costs more in Aus but still, it's quite a difference, even here in NZ it's not as bad). Otherwise I suppose it looks alright.

All you need is a PSU, HDD & ODD.

Any suggestions? HDD i want 1tb PSU no idea about voltage needed to run above specs and ODD i guess i could just figure out myself

Reply to PCHelpz

For the HDD a Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB and the PSU 700 W if you want to SLI another GTX 460 & overclock later on.
