Cant burn dvd

okay so i needed to burn a few files into a dvd, so i bought a dvd+rw and a dvd-rw
and i tried drag & drop files into the empty disk, and it says that windows cannot do that, and i can press
retry or cancel, 2nd, i got nero, i selected the files started to burn, and it said burning sucsesuffly completed
i opend up the empty disk, and there are no written files, please help

Wait a minute, you said you "opened up the empty disk", why would there be files on an empty disk?

Are there files on the disk nero burned? Did you open it on the same PC or on a different one? If you look at the disk, did the color change on it after it finished?
