Went into the Bios and I do not have an option to disable sata in order to reinstall a windows 7 pro 64bit operating system to a new hard drive. It came originally loaded with Vista but the hard drive crashed.
So when I attempt to reload the operating system it states that windows is loading files (progress bar at the bottom) Then it reboots and loops back twice, then It stops at a hardware information page that shows my specs of my dell hard drive. No error messages. Sitting here scratching my assumptions.
