I have had this same problem on all discs I have used. When I get about 10% of the disc used I get an erronous indication the disc is full and I can't write /save to it. Why is this occurring?

Is the software that you are using set up to write to a CD as opposed to a DVD? If it is then you must change the settings to get the full capacity of the DVD.

I have used both CD and DVD discs. I have the same problem using either kind.
