I'm a fan of the ASUS P6X58D motherboards (P6X58D-E & P6X58D Premium) for any i7 build. If your budget is larger, you can step up to the ASUS Rampage III.

The newer EVGA X58 FTW3 looks good but it is designed for SLI (not Crossfire). You want the best of the best, you are looking at the EVGA Classified SR2, with dual socket support.

All X58 motherboards perform more or less the same way.. The final choice comes down to personal criteria.. If you are having plans for overclocking then you need a stable platform firstly.. Then comes the feature set which you can use and not which are available.. Then comes the aesthetic appeal which is surely buyer dependent.. Personally, i'd recommend the gigabyte X58A-UD3R.. If budget is not an issue then you can look for asus P6X58 series or the msi big power x58..
