Helloo guys . Im using build in sound card Realtek HD audio. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 . And im using Windows 7. So lets go with it !

My main problem is that i connect my speakers Logitech z5500 with the optical cable to the sound card and there is no sound . . . I can get the sound only by analog cables but for me is not enought satisfaction untill i cant get the DOLBY DIGITAL in the movies .

I checked the optical cable and everything with the cable is ok .

Also i tryed configure the Digital Output but its kinda impossible . Becouse the option " Configure " is blocked.

Please Pro members help me im in HUGE desperation now .

Leave it connected with the analogue cables.
Even you onboard codec is a better DAC than what the z5500 has.
You will still get the same 'Dolby Digital' in movies as this is only referring to a 5.1 encoding standard.
Regardless of the speakers or codec decoding it, you will still hear the same thing.
