Hey guys,

I have a DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D motherboard. Currently I have two OCZ 512MB PC3200 DDR400 ram installed. I recently purchased a 1GB PC3200 DDR400 ram and when I install it the computer beeps and doesn't boot. Do I have to buy another 1GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM in order to match? I then proceeded to look more intoDFI's product webpage and found out that the motherboard doesn't even support 1024MB DDR400 RAM. Can I still buy another 1GB PC3200 DDR400 and match it and have 3GB ram? What can I do?

thanks guys

Don't buy another stick of your 1 gb ram if the first one won't work. You may have to exchange the ram or sell it. If you have 4 slots, another pair of 512mb sticks may be all you can install. Many boards aren't upgradable for the cpu or ram, so do more research next time before purchasing anything.
