Matrox Triplehead2go or Dualhead2go or USB to DVI adapter???

Puting a DualHead2Go in one slot and another monitor in the other should work.

One thing to keep in mind is the resolution of your monitors, which appears to be 1920x1080 and have a VGA and DVI input.

According to the matrox webside the Digital and DisplayPort DualHead support up to 2x 1920 x 1200. But the TripleHeads only support up to 3x 1680 x 1050. I would have thought the DisplayPort TripleHead would go up to 19x10 but i guess not.

So it looks like you should get yourself the DualHead2Go Digital Edition and some DVI cables.

Paperfox, tho you are correct about the TH2G and a res of 1680*1050 you are also wrong.

The max width u can currently get with a TH2G with 3 monitors is 5040. if you only out put from 2 of the TH2G DVI ports you can go to 19*12.

tho you will still have issues connecting 3 monitors to that video card, due to the amount of pixes u want to run. .

Tip: save the money buy a high end rig that can support silly amounts of pixels (e.g 5.3million)

Seeing that the TH2G is limited to 3 1680x1050 outputs and cannot support your 3 1920x1200 monitors, id say you are stuck with just the ATI HD 5870.

And only one HD 5870 as of now. the Eyefinity software in the cards is not supported in crossfire, hopfully in a few months that it will be supported. and as i see it you will need to have crossfire in order to get decent frame rates with 3 1920x1200 screens. (3 1920x1200 screens = 1.6875 2560x1600 screens, in terms of pixles)

Ive come up with two options:
1) Get one 5870 for your three 1920x1200 screens and use eyefinity with some lowered details to keep frame rates high. Get another 5870 when drivers come out supporting eyefinity while in crossfire. or

2) Crossfire two 5870's, use a digital TH2G and use 1680x1020 resolution on your three 1920x1200 monitors

One last note. You will need one of these active DisplayPort to DVI addapters in order to use ATI's Eyefinity on your moniors since they dont have a DisplayPort input.
