Hi I have this rig for gaming:

Mobo: GIGABYTE 99FXA-UD3
Processor: AMD FX-6100 Black Edition with CM Hyper 212 EVO HSF
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
PSU: 650W Corsair TX650
GPU: EVGA GTX 560 Ti DS Superclocked
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 SATA 160-GB

Im definitely going to upgrademy HDD to an SSD so that is not an issue. What I am having troubles with is, do I have to change my FX-6100 to a Phenom II x6 1090t BE or a Phenom II x6 1100t BE. will these cpus fit my motehrboard? please advice. thank you.

Don't change the CPU's. The 6100 is a newer design than the 1090 or 1100. It'll be a downgrade...

Newer doesn't mean better, the benchmarks clearly show it's an upgrade. Most 990X motherboard are compatible with Phenom II.

Benchmarks =! gaming performance.

The 6100 is a superb CPU, more than capable of holding it's ground in the gaming industry. It offers a sweet Turbo speed of 3.9GHz, and uses a lot less energy than the 1100T.

You wouldn't convince me to buy the 1100T if I already own a 6100 with all the benchmark results in the world.

Let me put it this way - you're not going to notice the difference in gaming, and you're not going to care either if you have an SSD with a GTX560Ti. Performance will be great, regardless of the 6100 or 1100T installed. Buying a 1100T is just a waste of money with the rig there currently is.
