Okay so I plan on getting the Cooler Master V6 GT for my i5 2500k, should I stick with the thermal compound that comes with it or should I get something like the Prolimatech PK-1 Thermal Compound or Tuniq TX-4 Extreme Performance Thermal Compound?

Nothing wrong with the CM supplied paste.
You can buy better paste for a 1-3C temp drop.
Prolimatech PK-1 and Tuniq TX-4 aren't any better btw.
