ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS Help

Ok so I will be the proud or not so proud new owner of this board tomorrow (ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS) as it is on it's way. I have read that it has issues clocking past 350FSB which is not something I was planning on...

This build is for a MAME cabinet. For anyone who cares.. MAME relies solely on processing power.. Not GPU. My temporary CPU that I am putting in for a few days is a pentium D 945 (JUNK) while I await the processor that will finish the build in hope to run Blitz, MK4.

Enough babble, here is my question. What CPU should I get (I head 1066FSB overclocks better than 1333 on this board) Whether it be dual or quad core. I am looking to get a CPU that will hopefully hit 4ghz.

I read that the E6500 and Q6700 have great potential.. But I would rather find out first.

Pentium D 945 <--Temporary
Ripjaw 2x4GB DDR3 1066
Raptor 10K RPM 160GB
HD4350 1G <--For 15khz Output at a native resolutions (320x240, etc.)

Anybody? Just need some clock specs on the lowers FSB CPU's. Don't want to get a high clock that won't overclock or vice versa.
