Do barb fittings already come with their barbs clamps?

I recently bought 2 swiftech 3/8 fittings, but I only got the conector and not the clamp to hold the tubing to the fitting. It was my idea that the fitting and the barb are sold together, makes logical sense to me.

Question: So, is this common, are fittings sold without their barbs, or did I only received half a product?

Are you meaning compression fittings or barbs?

Compression fittings- yes, there is one side that looks similar to a barb, but has threads to screw the outer ring on and seal the fitting.

Barbs- no. Barbs come as-is. You'll need clamps of some sort to hold tubing onto barbs.
