Thermal case fan controller

Forum Overclocking : Heatsinks & Air Cooling Thermal case fan controller

I tried to put this thread in the proper place, this looked like as close as I could get.

I have a Rosewill Destroyer case with spots for up to 7 120mm fans. I have 2 on top for exhaust, one in back exhaust, and 1 in front for intake. 2 of the fans are quiet(Rosewills) and 2 of them are rather noisy(MassCools). All 4 use the 4 pin molex so I have no speed control for them. I recently read an article about how to build a thermal fan control.
I built one and the thing works perfectly. I have it controlling the 2 noisy fans and now unless the temp rises, my case is at a low hum. I used male female molex connectors for plug n play and used zip ties to secure the temp sensor and unit.
Here is a link to the page on how to make it.

I ran PC Mark 7 to see if my creation would actually work and when the temp went up, so did the fan speeds.
and they both reduced speed when the temp went down. I got 2 of the 3 components from my local radio shack, but they didn't have the thermistor so I got it from Ebay.

I know some think 4 120s may be overkill, but my A64x2 4200+ idles at around 32-37 C and only hits 45-47C after 3 hrs of gaming.

Most of you may already know about this, I figured I would post it for those who may not.
