ok i decided to do a full system upgrade yesterday and i purchased
core i7 2600k
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply
SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner SATA
HIS IceQ X Turbo H695QNT2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB

and this
MSI P67A-C43 (B3) Motherboard

did i make a bad choice on a motherboard for overclocking???

i wanted to push my i7 2600k to 4.5-4.7ghz now im finding out the motherboard has a vcore lock or is there a bios update for this?

order has already shipped but i can buy this motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z68P-DS3 locally and ship the msi back if needed

any info on this board?
