Hey there,

I just got my new computer for a month and as of today the CPU fan does not reduce its speed anymore. I just goes high/full throttle. :/

Anyways, I went to the BIOS and checked what "CPU SMART Fan Control" was set to, and it was "Normal". I tried Silent but still it goes on at a high throttle. I tried the SpeedFan program but couldnt get any better results.

Any idea whats causing the problem?

My mistake, it was not the CPU but the GPU fan. The problem still persists though: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/foru [...] ed-anymore
