Is my core2duo E7500(2.93Ghz) Overheating

hello sir,
i am sorry if i am posting it in the wrong section.

sir i would like to know that what is the maximum temperature can my core2duo(E7500) 2.93Ghz processor can operate at?? my DG31PR boards report as 84°C.

i removed the thick greyish color heat sink paste and applied new creamy white color paste but still it shows 84°C. So, i downloaded (core temp) software it shows my core(0) max temp as 65°C, min as 59°C and core(1) max temp 50°C,min as 44°C when running application like VMware Workstation, Oracle,Visual Studio 2008 etc....

it shows my core(0) max temp as 41°C, min as 36°C and core(1) max temp 34°C,min as 33°C when no applications runs,, i,e, Ideal mode.

I scare that my processor is getting too hot but i dont have any idea that is it running at good temp or not. so, i would like to ask you that can you tell me is my processor running temp is good or not?? and which type of heat sink paste is good for applying in my processor.
