Hello, I just bought a Hyper 212+ and one of the standoffs wasn't formed correctly and won't fit into the bracket. Is using 3 standoffs safe for this cooler? Also, if it's not, does anyone know if I can buy a standoff in a hardware store or would I have to go through cooler master? Thanks for any help.

Do what davcon said. You don't want uneven pressure on the motherboard.
