990fx Fatality Prof 1100T 1600mhz questions on overclocking

Hi there, first of i am going to start with my build. I have searched and searched but cant find anything to really help me

AsRock Fatality Professional 990FX
AMD Phenom II X6 Thuban BE 3.3Ghz Currently at 4.0Ghz
Corsair Vengence 4X4GB 1600mhz CML16GX3M4A1600C9
EVGA Geforce 560 Ti Classified 1280/320/448

Right now I have c1, thermal, cool n quiet, and the few other necessary options disabled.

Multiplier 20x 4000mhz 29*C idle and 50*C Max load. 39-41*C playing BF3
cpu voltage 1.46
Bus Speed 200
NB 2400Mhz
cpu nb voltage 1.265
HT link 2000Mhz
ddr3 set at 1333 with stock manual timings 9-9-9-24 2T @ 1.5V
everything else like ht voltage, nb voltage, LLC is all on auto??? Not sure what % LLC should be at
This setup runs prime95 for 12+ hours

Even with bios settings at stock i cant get passed the first test in prime with ram settings at 1600mhz.

And even with the settings above I cant run it at 1600mhz nor can I overclock to 4200mhz at 1333.. so im stuck where im at.


Any suggestions on what I should do. I am fine with 4ghz i just wish I could get my ram to 1600mhz. Is it because I am using 4 sticks for a total of 16gb? Should I try and go with only 2 at 8gb?
