What is the best or optimal settings for the Marvell 9128 Sata3 controller. I am using the Intel controller for SSD boot drive and I want to use the Marvell Sata3 controller for a Raid0 setup of two Sata3 hard drives for my data storage. My SSD is setup via a PCIe Sata3 card and is wickedly fast. However, I can't find the best settings for two of the Marvell bios settings. Under "Sata 3 Firmware Selection" I can choose onchip, auto or force. It appears from what I have read that "auto" is the best setting. Is this correct? With respect to the GSata3_6/7 Raid setting, I can choose "bypass, fw mode or auto" and it looks like "fw mode" is the best. These are the settings that I used and all works fine (and yes, I understand the Marvell controller is crappy). However, before I start to reload all of the files I have backed up, I want to make sure these two settings are correct or otherwise the best choices to make. Again, the system is running great but before I waste my time loading files onto my Raid0 data drive, I just want to figure out if I should reconfigure the Raid0 setup differently or not. Any help would be most appreciated (and again, from the thousands of posts on the web, I understand the Marvell controller is crap; nonetheless, I want to use it for my storage drive).

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or guidence.
