best performance for the money is by far a 212 evo with a push pull config but i cnt for sure recomend it unless i know how far of a oc your aiming at

Reply to robthatguyx

im realy not sure I just want good performance to price. I only have a 560 ti gpu so i probly wont oc more than around 4.5 for now but idk are you sure the evo is wort the $10 price diference because it seems like it only helps like 2 degrees c but maybye more with a second fan idk. If i did go hyper 212 w/ push pull what should I use as the 2nd fan?

well if your worried you could go overkill but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lajZi-JAFXA if they can hit 5200mhz im sure you can hit 4500 . and i cnt say for sure what fan its personal prefereance do you want super performance and loud or quite good performance the inbetween

Reply to robthatguyx

I dont mind if its super loud if I can control the fan speed as I use a g930 headset when gaming so I cant really hear my computer. so basically as long as its not ridiculously loud when idle im fine.

The Archon won't fit = 170mm tall.

how about this fan as a second with a 212 + i believe its the same as what comes with it. can you have 2 pwm fans? how would i attach to the motherboard one as cpu fan one as case fan?

Archon does fit acording to othes with a 2-3cm clearance according to others the raven case dementions are under measured or something btw

What about the cooler master V6 GT it just went on sale on new egg making only about $ 10 more than the hyper 212 and a little cheeper if I was to get a second fan for the 212 looks to cool about 10 degrees cooler than the hyper 212 and 3 less than a dh14 only thing is it seems to be a little loud even at idle.

i still say best for your money is def the 212+ or 212 evo with a push pull may not be the best looking but def has some cooling power ive seen several rigs at 4500mhz with the 212 evo with only one fan

Corsair Cooling Air Series A70

I own this and a 212+= the A70 cools a little better and is quieter(with resistors) then a 212+ with one fan.

does it quite as good as a push pull evo?

ended up getting the v6 gt its only $35 so about the same as A70 and evo cost wise and it cools a little better.
