Hello,
I have a ? concerning set up. I have a sabertooth 990fx with a Amd 1090t.
I am using kingston hyper x ddr3-(khx1600c9d3k2/8gx)
I am new to overclocking , So I am not going to manually change bios settings until I am sure I can do so without damage to my system. I used easy mode and set to performance. This gave me a overclock of 3.7 Ghz , using a X16 multipier. It put my ram setting to 1546mhz. Amd specs of the 1090t state that the IMC is 1333 ghz max. Is it safe to leave the setting at 1546ghz or should I lower it to 1333 mhz. I would also add I am using a h620 closed loop cooler. I ran Windows mem diagnostic ( passed ). I ran memtest86 for 20mins ( passed ). I ran prime 95 for 1 hour , ( passed ) My core ID temps are 27c at idle and 55c at full load. Again just wondering if it is safe to run system at these settings. The IMC concerns me.
Thank you
