OCZ Vendetta vs Asetek 510LC

Forum Overclocking : Heatsinks & Air Cooling OCZ Vendetta vs Asetek 510LC

I'm getting a PC from CyberPower in the mail on Tuesday, and I'm already looking at extra fans and fan upgrades for my case, and for the CPU.

It's coming with an Asetek 510LC (which many people think may be a re-branded H50) and I'm wondering if an OCZ Vendetta, Noctua NH-U12P, or even a Cooler Master V8 (Yes, I know clearance can be an issue) would provide more cooling? I'm looking to get the most out of my i7-2600k, and so the better cooler I get, the more fun I can have overclocking.

Thanks in advance guys.

That's backwards, Asetek is the oem for the Corsair H50.
The 510LC should do better than all the air coolers you mentioned.

Thanks for the fast reply!
Just curious, how do you know this? Experience, specs, etc?
I'm always looking to learn more about these things.

I've installed a few.
Tested them against better aircoolers than the ones you've mentioned, on chips ranging from Core2Duo's to the I7 980x
Modified one, a couple of times

These [ H50 type 120mm rad LCLC ] aren't coolers I would reccomend, but since you already have it coming there's not much point thinking about a new cooler ( might even void a warranty by changing it ).
If it gets to you and can't keep the temps down, then start looking ( preferably for something a little more updated than those you mentioned )
