Forum Overclocking : AMD Phenom II successful/not successful core unlock

I am working on a budget build
AMD Athlon II
BioStar A880G+ (AM3) 4Gigs of ADATA 1600 listed as compatable
Got Win 7 ulitmate and basic drivers installed and got a successful Windows load

Restarted then pressed f4 during post to unlock the 4th core. No OC. Nothing exoctic

Now the box just keeps restarting. It will start in SAFE mode.

I tried resetting the CMOS to the default settings including core leveling to "Auto" and its seeing 3 cores.

Booting from the Win 7 DVD loads the drivers and then begins the reboot over and over again.

Haven't tried clearing the CMOS yet but I was wondering if anyone has some insight into this wierdness.

Thanks
