Hey everyone, I'm new here and was wondering if i could get some advice/help with my overclock.
I have a BIOSTAR TA990FXE with a Phenom II X6 1090T. And havn't had much success with my overclocks.
I was wondering what settings I should try first, adjusting just the multiplyer with nothing else dosn't let me past 3.6GHZ when the stock is 3.2GHZ. At the 3.6 GHz its not 100% stable in prime 95 with bluescreens sometimes occuring, but temperatures in OCCZ and speed fan reading in the 40's never past 50, usually around 40-42 MAX under load.
I have a after market cooler, its a coolermaster verticle heat sink and a cooler master case with good air flow.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
