Liquid cooling recommendations

I have a Thermaltake Level 10 GT case and a Asus Crosshair V motherboard. I currently have a Phenom II 1055t which I will be upgrading to the FX-2150 very soon. I am looking to install a liquid CPU cooler. The two liquid coolers I am looking at are the Corsair H80 and the Corsair H100. My basic question is what is the advantage of going with the H100 over the H80? Will I see that much more results? I would rather mount the H80 on the back on the case if the H80 performs similar to the H100 in regards to keeping the CPU cool. The only way to install the H100 onto the case it i believe on the top, which would mean i would have to sacrifice a 200mm fan in its place.(I'd rather trade a 140mm fan for a 120mm radiator). Perhaps I can mount the H100 to the bottom of the case? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Not sure on the hose length to say if the H100 will reach the bottom of the case without modification
It is the better of the two though, are you intending on overclocking at all?
And I'm unsure of how you are UPgrading to a dualcore :-)

Id suggeat unless you just want it, the 8120 is a better value, overclocks juast as easily. You might get 200 mhz more maxed out of the 8150, but your limiting factor will be the cooling anyway, not the cpu itself.

H100 needs 2-120 mm fan space is your case has a spot for 2 fans next to each other, check clearance around them for radiator placement.

instead of getting a bd, wait for a pd which is a better cpu at 32nm from amd

I think i will wait for the AMD Piledriver cpu's after researching it.

-For the H100 I do have enough room to mount it on the top of my case, and i've read many reviews from people who have mounted it to the top of the case that i have.

-I think i may go with the H80 to minimize clutter inside the case, and it seems not to be outperformed by the H100 by much, as far as i can gather.

-Is there any water cool solutions, other then the H100/H80, that anyone would suggest?

I think I like the Thermaltake CLW0211 Bigwater 760 Plus Dual Bay Drives Water Cooler..I DO have the room in my case for this and I think it will reduce clutter and I wont have to give up any case airflow...

What do you guys think? Legit?

But comparable to the H80? Reason being is i dont want to mount the H100 to the top of the case and cause clutter in my case if not necessary..

Atleast with this WC i wont have much clutter at all..If the performance is comparable to the H80 then I can live with that i think

Thermaltake make great cases, fans, and power supplies. Water cooling they are laughable at best. Their radiator is copper tubing through an aluminum fin array, tubing looped back and forth. Stretch it out, its pprobably 20' 1/8? Tubing with 24+ 180degree elbows. What does this add up to? Massive flow restriction and high pressure on the lines going into the radiator.

Generally speaking you can get better air cooling for the price/performance compared to these all in one water kits. I've recently used a Zalman CNPS9900 MAX and I was thoroughly impressed by it's performance, low noise, and massive size. Plus it looks pretty awesome. It cooled a 2500k at 4.5ghz maxing out at something like 60C maybe 65C. I forget exactly but it was really good. Only the week before I had put together a 2600k with an H80, and it was 70-75C at 4.6ghz.

If you really want to water cool your rig I would go with a real water cooling kit instead of any of those closed loop kits and defiantly no Thermaltake water coolers. I run the XSPC 750 RS240 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/ [...] 0c321s1310 and really like the performance it gives me. I have a FX-8120 oc to 4ghz and run about 29c idle and 35c full load when compared to the stock cooler I was run 40c+ idle. Plus these kits can be expanded in the future to include the GPU were the closed loop system there is no room for expansion.
