Forum Overclocking : CPUs I5 2500k- 4.5ghz can i push higher?

Hey guys. I have a i5 2500k overclocked to 4.5ghz. Running at 1.32v -i can lower it a bit more. Idle temps are 30 or below. Loaded highs are around 50c-55c.

Can i go higher at safe temps or should i call it quits?

You can push it as far as you want. I believe as long as load stays under 85c you should be fine. But running at that high of a speed for prolonged time may not be good so its up to you.

I would say stay under 75C and under 1.42V for 24/7
