I've was told that a quick way to test lower voltages was to use Intel Burntest. Doing this, I tested the following:
1.31875
1.3125
1.3000
1.29375
IBT reported all stable after 10 passes. (Max temp reached in one instance was 70C), but on the last, 1.29, I noticed some odd W7 behaviour. From the W7 Welcome Screen to the Login Screen, there was now a delay, where there would be black screen before the Login Splash. Prior to this lowest voltage setting, it used to be Windows 7 to Login very quickly. I chalked this up to instability.
Since, I'm back up to 1.3125, and ran Prime95 on Blend for 10 hours (56C maxed), and everything seems stable.
What would cause this apparent delay of the Login Screen? Is this something I should worry about. I noticed that moving to 1.3125 voltage that this apparent delay seems to be lessened. Should I up the voltage a little more?
