Hey guys, I would like to overclock my AMD Phenom II x6 1055t, but I have not really ventured into the depths of overclocking before. I understand that it makes a CPU perform more steps per second than it originally did before overclocking. I understand to overclock high you need to be able to set the voltage, my CPU has a locked voltage so I need to squeeze what I can out of that voltage. I think I understand that your CPU has a base clock and a multiplier and the base clock multiplied by the multiplier is the actual CPU frequency but I do not understand why exactly. Basically what I am looking for is the best and most in depth (but not to complex) overclocking guide for beginners on the interweb. I really don't know what I am looking exactly. Thanks for any suggestions.
