Hey guys, I'm new to the overclocking world and basically the PC world too. I just have a couple of questions regarding how to overclock my system? Basically what I want to do is just overclock it a bit, nothing too extreme. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys! If there isn't enough information on my system from CPU-Z and PC Wizard that I'm providing below then just notify me and I will try to provide more info.

Also, if you have a retail ACER computer, it will likely not overclock. Most retail computers disable certain parts of the BIOS that have to do with over clocking and other adjustments. They do this so that inexperienced people do not accidentally mess up their computer.

If you can still find one, an ASUS or Gigabyte motherboard with the G31 chipset is very good at that overclocking that processor. I remember many people getting approx 3gz out of it.

------------------------------ The power supply is the most important component in any computer. Without a good quality one, you usually wind up with a really expensive door stop.

Don't invest money trying to overclock that computer. If overclocking it fails, save for some new components that will overclock.

Yea I figured as much that I wouldn't be able to overclock. Just taking a shot in the dark I guess. I'm just going to invest in building up a new rig. Other than that, thanks for the help guys! I really appriciiate it!
