you should never overclock amd processors unless you have a aftermarket cooler, You can but the temratures would not be something to be happy about, if you wanna overclock look into aftermarket cooler solution, and make sure that your motherboard even gives you the option to overclock in the first place

You can overclock this CPU but you need the correct motherboard/software and a good heatsink/fan combo.

Try searching the forums for others that have overclocked there X2 6000 and see what experience they have had.
