Ok, I started to look into OCing.

For the hell of it I did a two hour stress test with Prime95 with only the multiplier manipulated to 45. After two hours I had no errors but my core temps got a bit high: 70c, 75c, 78c, 74c. According to EasyTuner (Gigabyte App) my Vcore at X45 was .8V-.9V at idle and at 1.308 or 1.320 (mostly the latter) during the stress test.

So my temps are a bit high, so will lowering the Vcore lower my temps?

My BIOS does not allow me to manually set the Vcore but I can use the Dyanamic Vcore (DVID) to increase or decrease the Vcore, so could I lower my temps by manipulating the Vcore with DVID?

Thanks,

Kiyamon
