My system will not run the XMP settings
At the moment im running it on the TPU settings wich is running at 4.2Ghz, and ram at 2022Mhz not 2133Mhz as it is ment to be when running XMP.
when ever i go to use the XMP settings it just fails to post and gose into some safe degrated mode lowing the CPU to 12 times its factory speed.
iv been told this system can make some serouse speeds but i have yet to see.
im not much of a noob, but i am when it comes to over clocking but was told the XMP mode is a no brainer but its failing to do so, so i dont know if i have to set it all manualy. Thats were i need help.
my system is
Asus P9X79 Delux
Intel 3960x
Kingston HyperX 32GB (8x4GB)
Corsair AX 850Wat

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

You can try manually, go to you BIOS and change the DRAM options to the specs of your RAM in speed and CL as well as voltage and check if that is stable or at least the rig can boot.
