Temperature after overclock

Forum Overclocking : CPUs Temperature after overclock

I just got done overclocking my Phenom II910. The original clock was 2.6GHz and I got it to 3.5GHz. Is this a good overclock or could I get higher? From what it looks so far, the overclock is stable. I ran Prime95 for 20 minutes without it crashing. My idle temperature is 38C and when running Prime 95 for15 minutes it got to 60C. Is this too high? If it's too high, then I was thinking about adding another fan to the heatsink, but if it's fine then I will leave everything the way it is.

80C Is about where you want to stay below. 90 is the absolute limit or then you'll have to buy a new one. 60C is fine. You could even go higher maybe 3.7GHz. But before you do that don't forget to get some better cooling. When you set up your fans you need to think about positive and negative airflow. Try another fan on the heat sink. Have one pushing Air and one pulling Air.
