Turbo Unlocker (M4A89TD-PRO/USB3)

Forum Overclocking : AMD Turbo Unlocker (M4A89TD-PRO/USB3)

I'm running the fore mentioned mother board with a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz processor. I have the turbo turned on through BIOS, and also the Turbo Unlocker... I noticed just today that the turbo unlocker box only showing 5 cores on it's user interface. I have been experiencing some computer problems, but assumed it was wrapped around my graphics card as I have been having BSD's while gaming. Anyway, my question is should the Turbo Unlocker be showing only 5 cores, or is there a problem there that I need to try and resolve?

Thanks for your time.

Well, answered my own question I think.. Rebooted and seen on the flash screen that it said just 5 cores were activated so I went into BIOS and for some reason 1 got turned off. Turned it back on and rebooted and everything seems to be back to normal. Do cores just randomly shut off like that or is there another underlying reason I should look into?

Thanks.
