I know that due to sandy bridge architechture there is no more north bridge in 1155 platforms. I use MSI z68ma-g43. There is a temperature reading in BIOS which always shows between 26.-27 degrees celcius. Again 26-27 degrees were read by speed fan. I used prime 95 benchmark and these temperatures of the motherboard do not seem to increase.. despite my g840 cpu goes up to 42 degrees according to speed fan mainboard temp never increases..

Since there is no northbridge in my motherboard what does this motherboard temperature stand for ?. Is that the south bridge ?. If not how can I get reading from southbridge ?...

Cant 1155 socket platforms get hot ? Only cpu gets hot ?

Or even if the motherboard gets how I wont be able to read it ?
