Wow, that is a pretty serious cooler on that card. Hopefully it will keep it cool and stay quiet.

The 5770 is for sale at newegg. It is not a mystery any more.

Or is it? That link says 1120 shaders, while Newegg says 800. Also, Newegg says 2 PCI-E 6 pin, while I thought it was supposed to be 1. Another good card ATI is stumbling into release with.

Most go into sleep mode which presumably saves power and the printer starts more quickly than if it runs through the test routines usual when first powering up. I always turn my printer off after use -- but then I don't do much printing.
