My system:
FX-4100 - OC'd 4.6ghz
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD990FX
Corsair Vengeance 2X4GB - 1600mhz (soon to be OC'd)
Sapphire 5850's Crossfired - OC'd 891mhz/4700mhz
Corsair Cooling Air Series A50 Performance CPU Cooler
CX600 Corsair PS
Antec 300 Case

When I tried to overclock my NB last night I ran into a really weird problem. I tried to bump it up one multiplier to 2200mhz. It would boot, but when windows loaded sound was stuttering and everything was really choppy. Anything I'm missing for overclocking my NB?

just dont OC your northbridge, problem solved. Your probably pushing the limits of that PSU with 2 OC'd 5850's and an OC'd Bulldozer.

Yep, ATI/AMD recommends a 600w psu when running 2 5850's, and that's at stock speeds! :cry: Throw in the overclocks and the overclocked FX and you got yourself a new paperweight.

I upgraded my power supply to an Antec high current pro 850W, and presto! Now will overclock further. Thanks for your help guys.
