Quick question...
Just got a new i7 2600k and Gigabyte board (GA-P67A-UD7-B3) and for now until I get the money Ill be using the dumb air cooler... But one thing that pisses me off is I hate it underclocking at idle. Now from what I hear I need to keep turbo boost on and C1E/EIST on for when I do goto 5Ghz. But for now when I disable those shouldnt it stop underclocking me when those 3 features are off? Cause I have them off and CPU-Z still shows it underclocking
