Apparently mine is F4 right now and I don't have the option to change my CPU vcore.

Is the reason why I don't have this option is because my BIOS is outdated?

Model is GA-Z68AP-D3

Also, How can I tell what revision I am?

Hi.

Here is the way to know the Revision that you have:

Taken from Google

From your current model, you have the Rev. 1.0 and the latest available version for that mobo is F6. You can download it from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/p [...] =3897#bios and follow the user's manual to update the BIOS. Just an advice, if you haven't problems with the current BIOS don't do any change.

As indicated in the above pic Gigabyte always have the revision # on the bottom left corner of the mobo.
I use Gigabyte boards exclusively and usually always update the bios.
I've noticed improvements most of the time when doing so.
The nice thing about Gigabyte(Dual bios) is it's next to impossible to brick a mobo bios.

Download the TouchBios utility.

The only reason I want to update my BIOS is because the option to change my Vcore voltage isn't showing up.

Is an outdated BIOS even the reason for this?

Try in your BIOS with Ctrl + F1, that show you the hidden options in BIOS.

Still nothing, you really don't think it isn't an outdated BIOS?

Try with new BIOS and let me know if that works.

I'm kinda afraid to update my BIOS right now since I keep hearing it could potentially brick my MOBO

Not now, Gigabyte comes with dual BIOS that basically restore the old BIOS if the new one have problems.

Oh really? That's cool. How do I make it happen? Or is it automatic and will fix itself if I screw up?

At soon as you start the rig, the BIOS show you the different options, in those options is the recover BIOS.
