Cannot open movie clip file in windows video player

Forum Windows XP : Video Cannot open movie clip file in windows video player

when try to open C:\Documents and Settings\Leongyy\My Documents\My Videos\Import Video Data for SD\TVD_SD-Video\20120127 movie clip file after copy video files from Canon Legria fs406, only can hear music/audio.

I can only open those files using Video Browser SD that the software install from the Canon's given CD.

Please advise despite I try to install Canon Raw codec but no use.

Download either media player classic or VLC media player. They are free, open source players that will play any file you throw at them. Google them and you'll find it. Or bing. or whatever your pleasure.

VLC is the best video player out there. It will play almost anything.

FreeSmith Video Player is a nice choice too. Comparing to VLC, it is much lighter. And it plays almost anything you throw to this free video player.
