I need one of these for my gaming pc which is more reliable ..Lite-scribe isn't important.

I would go with the Lite-on DVD. I haven't had issues use them or Samsung DVD drives.

Sony makes decent drives too. DVD drives are pretty much a commdity... good, cheap, and easily replaceable. I have a lite on that's been working fine for years. Same with Sony.
