If there is a prefetch file of a program that I haven't used for a month or so does windows sometimes update it? Because I have not used a certain program since sometime in December and just the other day I looked and it said I had accessed it on 1/24/2012. How can that be unless windows somehow accessed it and updated the prefetch file.

Did you have windows updates on 1/24 ?
