How to Overclock my Gateway fx6800-01e?

Forum Overclocking : Chipsets & Bios How to Overclock my Gateway fx6800-01e?

I have a Gateway FX6800-01e

MOBO: X58 Express Chipset
CPU: Intel i7 920 - 2.67 GHz
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 750W
GPU: ATI Radeon 4850 (1GB)
RAM: 9GB DDR3 1033MHz
HDD: 500GB Caviar (Green or blue?)

I am trying to find a way to Overclock my CPU but I don't really know where to start. I have been reading and people are saying that the Bios in my computer is locked and it is hard or not possible to overeclock. I have tried using ClockGen but when I open the program it only has 2 settings: Clocks and, Settings, and there are no options to overclock or enter my computers info. Also on my Bios there are no options to overclock either.

I don' really know what other info to give but, if needed then ask away:)

You can't oc your cpu with the gateway mb. There is no option in the bios to oc.

What would you recommend me doing? Should I get a new MOBO? Does overclocking make that much of a difference in game play?
