Hello,
I had accidentally deleted ActiveX, reinstalled it, still get message to click under address bar to activate it. I must have changed some settings. I have Windows XP3. What do I do now? I have Explorer Version 8.

Your thread title says "Windows update not working"
Run this from command prompt.
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
